RULE 7. PITCHING Sec 1. – Pitcher shall be given 3 warm up pitches upon beginning of game and when a new

pitcher comes into the game.

Sec 2. A pitcher shall be required to make contact with the pitching rubber during release except in such case as additional distance has been granted to the pitcher by the Official, usually due to the mound being located less than 53’ from home plate.

Sec 3.The pitcher must release the ball within 3 seconds of when the Official says “Play Ball”.

Sec 4. Pump fakes will be permitted for a maximum time of 3 seconds. The count starts when the pitcher makes his first fake or takes the rubber. Any pump lasting longer than 3 seconds will be deemed a dead ball and a ball will be awarded to the batter.

Sec 5. The pitcher may not use the glove to pitch the ball, the ball must be pitched from a bare hand.

Sec 6. Pitch arc will be 4ft to 10ft from the ground.
