TEAM CHECK-IN / TEAM BALLS FOR SALE
- We still have some teams that need to pay their sanctions to be fully completed on their tournament payment. 
- All teams must complete their payment , fill out the Myrtle Beach Hotel Survey and sign for their Team Packet to receive your team wrist band.
- (1) Representative (who must be present at the first game coin flip) will receive a completed check in wrist band.  You must show this wrist band to the umpire at the first game coin flip.  If you don’t, you won’t play.
- We will do ALL TEAM CHECK INS at the park starting at 4pm Friday.
- Friday Team check in will be located at the CarolinaFSA table down by the concession stand where the (4) field wheel is going to be.  You may purchase your balls there, check in for your team, purchase tournament sweatshirts, etc.
- Freedom Stamped Balls MUST BE USED and supplied by the Teams.  All Freedom Balls are 44 core / 425 Compression and Stamped with our Logo.  Boulders and Tattoos will be for sale at the field.

TOURNAMENT BRACKETS
- If I do post a bracket, IT IS NOT OFFICIAL and subject to change so the only official bracket is the one at the field. 
- Brackets will be posted next to the CarolinaFSA vendor table on Friday night and throughout the weekend

GAMES / GAME TIMES / RULES / APPEALS / BAD WEATHER
- Games Will Start Saturday Morning @ 8am and again Sunday Morning @ 8am
- Game Time is FORFEIT TIME!!!  You get 15 minutes ONLY FOR YOUR FIRST GAME and ONLY if you have less than 8 players.  If you have 8 players or more the game WILL NOT be held up to start!!!
- It is your team’s responsibility to keep up with the tournament bracket and game times.  Times could change and your team should be ready in case they do.
- Please have your team report to the field NO LATER THAN 1 hours before your first game time to complete team check in.  This should be followed for Teams Playing Saturday Morning.  For those of you with 8am Game times Saturday Morning, We will be at the field by 7am for check in and I suggest your team show up no later than 7am as well since you will have reduced time for your Team to check in.
- If you are making an appeal, please remember that it must be done during the game.  You must tell the umpire what you are appealing, put up $50 (of which you will get back if you win your appeal), umpire will notify a director, the director will handle the appeal accordingly.  ALL PLAYERS MUST have their ID on them AT ALL TIMES!!!!
- If you are questioning a “Rule Interpretation” (NOT a Judgment Call), it must be done immediately, if you would like a director for clarification then have the umpire contact one.  A director CAN NOT HELP YOU if you wait until the game is completed or the play is over and the game has moved on, to question a possible wrong Rule Interpretation.  We are all human and sometimes make mistakes.  Please don’t wait until it’s too late to question something. 
- In the event of Bad Weather that has or cold delay the tournament.  The tournament director has the right to change the tournament format, game structure, time limits, etc to ensure the tournament can be completed by the end of the weekend.  We WILL NOT go to a “1 pitch” format this year if bad weather strikes.  In the event we have to change the game format we will do the following:

- We will enforce a 55 minute Time Limit controlled by the home plate umpire.
- Game play will stay as normal a regular Freedom Pitch count.
- The only thing that will change is there will be a time limit enforced.
- There will be NO DROP DEAD RULE, if an inning is started it WILL BE FINISHED.
- The umpire has final say so on if another inning can be started based on the time left in the game and if the teams are ready to play before that time has expired.

HOMERUN DERBY
- Homerun Derby will start Friday Night @ 7pm down by the (4) Field Wheel.
- We will announce when the cutoff time for signups will be Friday Night.  Please check with 7th Inning Sports for this information
- Bring any bat you want to hit with and your own pitcher
- $10 to enter, 12 pitches, 10 swings (AND NO BUY BACKS THIS YEAR).  Signup at the 7th Inning Sports Trailer
- WINNER gets (2) bats provided by 7th Inning Sports
- Runner-Up gets (1) bat provided by 7th Inning Sports
- In the event of a tied group of players at the end of the derby for first or second place.  We will have a hit off.  6 pitches, 5 swings is the hit off format. 
- If there is no tie then the top 2 hitters will take home the prize.

BAT(S) / BAT CHECK-IN
- All team bats MUST BE CHECKED IN TOGETHER and on the FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY!!!. We WILL NOT CHECK TEAM BATS ON SATURDAY!!!!
- You may bring your team bats to the Coaches Meeting at Nacho Hippo AT 12 NOON FRIDAY for check in but we WILL NOT be doing player check in here.
- Bat Checks will continue at Grand Park Turf Fields starting 4pm on Friday along with Team Roster Check-In's.
- You may bring (20) bats to be checked in.  Pass or fail you are only allowed to bring (20).  Even if you bust/crack a bat during the weekend, we WILL NOT test anymore bats to be stickered for the weekend other than the (20) you bring us Friday Night.  A bat that tests 224 or higher on our compression tester will be stickered.  If a bat fails, you will get this bat handed back to you.  A maximum of (20) bats will be stickered for your team.
- Any bat (PURCHASED) at the field from our approved vendors (7th Inning Sports, All The Way Live Designs or CarolinaFSA) will be allowed to get stickered so that you may use it at the tournament.  This is the ONLY EXCEPTION to the 20 bat maximum team rule. 
- If a player is found to be using a bat that doesn’t have a approved Freedom Sticker on it, will be subject to penalty per Freedom Rules for using Illegal Equipment.
- We use Tamper Proof Stickers so we WILL NOT accept any excuse that your bat passed compression but the sticker fell off.  Don’t even try it guys.
- Freedom and its Staff, per Freedom Rules, reserved the right to still check any piece of equipment that is being used at ANY TIME no questions asked.  Please understand this rule!!!!

PLAYER CHECK-IN
- All players must have a Drivers License Photo ID on them at all times.
- All teams need to check in for roster signing "At the Same Time Please" with
their IDs.
- We WILL NOT be doing player check in at the coaches meeting!!!
- Player Check-In will start at Grand Park @ 4pm on Friday along
with Team Bat Checks.

- We WILL NOT be adding players to the roster at the fields.  I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL COACHES TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ROSTERS FOR ACCURACY NOW!!!!
- Any player that is caught playing that isn’t on your roster is considered an ILLEGAL PLAYER and the result will be a forfeit if caught during the game of play.
- Any player playing during the game that hasn’t signed your roster (even if they are on the roster) is considered an illegal player and will result in a forfeit if caught during the game of play.  Very important rules teams for you to understand and follow!!!!

CODE OF CONDUCT / PARK RULES
- NO ALCHOL IS ALLOWED AT THE PARK!!!!
- NO SMOKING OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE GATE AT THE TURF FIELDS!!! PERIOD THIS IS YOUR WARNING
- We will not tolerate abusive behavior towards any Freedom Staff or another team.  This is your warning guys and includes verbal abuse as well.
