Larry had made a post in regards to everything you guys are mentioning. I will address one thing that has been said. It is not possible to just cancel and play it next weekend. These dates for the Myrtle Beach complex were awarded in 2014. You don't just cancel and say we will take the fields next weekend.

He has not addressed the safety concerns for people traveling. Listen if he can't reschedule I get that but several teams coming from 4 or more hours away. Unfortunately the rains may win this weekend and I am sure we all want to play but my question is if you pitch can you see a ball hit back at you in a rain storm? What about the footing ever blow up a knee on slick turf? Lastly look at your ball glove and ask yourself how does rain effect my equipment? We would just like to know tonight so we can cancel or press forward. Thanks

My comment to you is as an adult YOU must address that concern. I will make the decision with myrtle beach on the tournament. You must decide if it's safe for you to drive you must decide if you want to play in those conditions that may occur. That's your choice not mine.
No one can know how hard the rain with fall or what the visibility will be. It's all just a guess
I hope I have addressed your concern again with an answer.

This will be the official place you can get the most updated tournament info and our goal will be to have a 100% answer by 5pm today at the latest.
That is copy and pasted from his message. Come on guys lets settle down and let us do our Damn job. As Larry said we are all adults and all need to make our own decisions.

I got to agree with Larry and Frank. If you don't feel safe playing/traveling stay home. Maybe suggest putting a pitching net (if the pitcher wants it) up infront of the pitcher to protect the closest player. If you hit the net your out. I don't know that's just a idea.
Instead of complaining gents come up with solutions to make it as safe as it can be without having cancel the tournament. Hope to see yall Saturday cause I know I want to play for sure.
