The following message is from Larry. He has been out of town and not able to address this
Saw you post and I will address you directly with it rather than on a message board but I assure you I won't say anything to you that I wouldn't say publicly. The lower teams that were or are coming to this event were all rec teams last year. They aren't any stronger than the highest finishing rec teams were currently have but were moved up to lower this year. Only reason there players are classified lower is because I made them thatAll invited to this event are based on the teams we saw during the season as they were. This isn't let's go out and pick up a lower team to become a stronger team event. If that's the case you should pick up lower players and go play lower worlds. Again these invites are based on the players we saw play on the rosters they are on the whole season. Not pick up teams for this event. I hope this clears up any and all confusion over why.
We coming from md to play. We chose fsa over other sanctions because they test bats and try to be fair. We are a put to gather team but we not crying about who we play. I will say this. If we end up playing a bunch of sandbagging teams, then we know not to come again. We enjoy playing the teams in this region and we enjoy y'all company. We got confidence in fsa to keep and even playing field, that's why we come.
what is the prize pack and address to the fields thanks
Anybody have any updates on the weather for down there? I heard the fields are turf but not sure of the rain and playing ball? Have heard a lot of good things about this place and how nice it is and can't wait till the weekend so I can get there
