When I say north of MB I mean WAY north btw...like in VA or MD
The cone of uncertainty. They have no clue where this thing is going to hit directly. Heavy rain never killed anyone. Let's get this done.
So the fields can take that much rain and be ok? And I'm guessing the hr derby is cancelled
If u have never been there let me say first and foremost. This complex is by far the nicest turf complex I my self has ever played on. I've got a pic of my team in a tournament with snow on the ground. After they plowed and pushed snow we finished the tournament. Rain is rain everyone has known this forcast for sometime now and pretty certain ur gonna be getting wet when u play. It's all about adjustability and making those for the rain. A true ball player can and will play in the rain. It's called for the love of the game.
There are several of us coming from out of states. Hotels are telling my players that 24 hours is max time for refund. We are asking for ample notice of a cancelation and respectfully ask that you consider the safety of the families driving through the storm on Friday as well as player safety on Saturday. Thank you

At this point it's not just about rain, it's about being smart. Just because the fields can take the rain does not mean it's smart to play on them, you are talking a major liability if someone gets hurt. Even with said travel to and from the park is not going to be easy, flooding, visibility and so on. Not to mention there are teams and players coming from areas that will be affected by this storm. It make zero sense to continue to try a play this tournament. JMO, which doesn't matter much.
This just needs to be rescheduled or allow teams refunds. This isn't just rain were talking about. There is a real threat of a hurricane/tropical making landfall. Bad thing is I want to play so freaking bad I can't stand it but it's just not smart to drive into this
agree cancle and have next weekend to much at risk but they dont care they all bout a dollar
